Revolut customers donate €1m Red Cross Ukraine in 24 hours

Revolut customers around the world have donated more than €1m in 24 hours to support the victims of the war in Ukraine, the fintech has announced.

On Friday the global financial superapp enabled customers in countries across the world to make free instant donations to their local Red Cross Ukraine appeal.

Funds will be used for humanitarian aid and first aid for those affected by the invasion of Ukraine – including those forced to flee their homes.

€1m to Red Cross Ukraine appeal in 24 hours

Red Cross teams are on the ground now in Ukraine and will continue their work to repair vital infrastructure, support health facilities, and help families with life-saving food and hygiene items.

Revolut has long-standing partnerships with the Red Cross, which helped expedite launching the humanitarian appeal to millions of its customers.
